Bio

I am a social researcher, practiced in qualitative and quantitative methods, with experience across North America and the world. I teach courses in sociology and environmental studies at Kenyon College in Ohio. My work examines how inequalities impact health, migration and mobility, economic development, and the environment. I strive for it to be policy relevant and community focused. I’ve studied in Maine, Wisconsin, England, India, the Philippines, New Zealand and Mexico, and I have lived and worked in Oregon, Mongolia, and Norway too. (I grew up in Vermont, still call it home, and always will.)
